FIRMWARE ENGINEER

Position Overview
As a Full-Time Firmware Engineer, you will join our team to code the modular embedded software for our unique hardware device. You will interact with third party protocols, processing sensor information and different measurement algorithms, and will configure communication channels for GSM, satellite, GPS, and more. You will work in a stimulating environment that provides room for personal initiative, creativity, and an occasional healthy debate with the development team to create innovative solutions. Your work will directly influence our products and our platform as a whole.
In this role, you will directly report to the European CTO.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in firmware development using C / C ++
- Basic knowledge of hardware engineering
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); fluency in multiple languages is ideal
- Basic understanding of agile methodologies
- Analytical, thorough, and meticulous personality with a flexible attitude
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team

Lead Architect

Position Overview
As a Full-Time Lead Architect, you will be responsible for the future architecture of our software platform and act as an interface towards our external hardware development. The API design of the customer facing interface is essential for integration into off-the-shelf environments. You will interact with our customers and their technical staff to support pre-sales and help them understanding the solution.
In this role, you will directly report to the European CTO.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge in infrastructural and software architecture of complex, service-oriented systems
- Significant experience with Java development and deployment of REST- and SOAP services in an enterprise context
- Deep understanding of state-of-the-art encryption software and hardware technology
- Basic understanding of hardware development, IT controlling, and product management
- Good knowledge of Android development and deployment
- Experience in cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, Google
- Good practical experience in agile methodologies and toolings
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confidence in presenting to C-Level Executives
- Fluency in English
- Team player with experience in leading international teams
- Stress-resistant
- Willingness to travel

As a Full-Time Product Owner, you will represent the customer’s view within our organization and return valuable ideas from customer projects back into our backlog for future product enhancements. This position is a fundamental pillar in our operational goal to meet our customer expectations.
