BIESTERFELD PLASTIC GMBH GO WITH SECURESYSTEM

Biesterfeld Plastic GmbH (BPG), one of the leading distributers of high-performance plastics, uses SecSys CARGO to optimize their supply chain between Germany and Africa.

Containers are containing plastic granulate on pallets for a customer in Durban. Loaded at Convent GmbH in Emmerich, containers are intermodally transported to Rotterdam, from where these will be shipped to Durban.

By this increased level of transparency, BPG could mitigate delays and monitor the temperature and humidity inside the container in real-time, as well as document the integrity of the container (e.g., via the door status). As an additional service, BPG’s customers will have access to the datapoints through SecureSystem’s data platform and could follow shipments globally, digital and in real-time.
